We've been on a mission to help children and families feel safe, loved, and respected since 2016. We are so grateful to the families like those below who invited us to share their journey. There is no higher honor than to be trusted to nurture the growth of a child, and we are so grateful to the SCC families for sharing their children with us.
We feel very fortunate to have found SCC. The staff is fantastic and they provide wonderful
individualized attention based on the needs of your child. My child has grown and
blossomed under their care. Michelle and her team are truly wonderful caring people that
love what they do and it shows everyday.
- M's Mom
Michelle's professionalism and attention to client experience is superb. She always
does her best to identify and provide services that will best meet her clients' needs,
pivoting as goals change or as additional needs arise. She is an expert in social
learning theory and her sharing her vast knowledge in this area is truly a gift.
- B's Mom
Ashley's enthusiasm and passion for helping her clients is always apparent. Along with
being a nurturing and creative therapist, she is clearly an expert in the area of speech
articulation, making her a perfect match for my son. I cannot recommend her highly

After months of searching and failed attempts to get our son's autism diagnosis and
therapy started I was referred to Michelle McFarlin. After just one phone call with
Michelle, I immediately felt better. After months of dead ends, waiting lists and
not knowing exactly what to do or where to start, there was a light at the end of the
tunnel. The entire SCC staff is an extension of Michelle's warmth and expertise. Emma Holder
and Meg Martin's leadership in the Bridge Builders group program is absolutely
incredible. They are fun and energetic and knowledgeable, but most importantly they care
alot about your child.
- W's Mom
Emma is so kind and warm. She has provided both therapy and assessment services to
our family and my young boys have always been completely comfortable and happy in
their work with her.
- L's Mom
Meg brings a nurturing, fun, and confident demeanor that children immediately respond
to. She has a gift for meeting children where they are to connect and engage. I am so
happy with the strides my child has taken in her social learning group. We are so
thankful for her.

The introduction of The Social Communication Connection was a true game changer not
only for our daughter, but for our entire family. Michelle along with Ashley, Emma and
Meg carved out a unique plan that was right for our daughter and they moved
mountains and performed what we feel like were miracles. When we started with the
group almost 4 years ago, we wondered if our daughter would ever speak and we
feared milestones like being ready for Kindergarten. It is only because of the amazing
work of these women that our daughter will successfully start kindergarten next Fall.
Our journey wouldn't have been the same without them! If you've been led to this
group of people, consider yourself very fortunate because you're in the right

made amazing progress while at SCC and enjoyed every minute there. When it came
time for our son to "graduate" he was thriving socially and emotionally! We owe so much
of that to Michelle, Emma and Meg and the work they do. They say it takes a village to
raise a child and we are so thankful to have SCC as a part of our village.
