Annie Jamison, MS, CCC-SLP

Since Annie was young, she has had a passion for serving and connecting with others through all that she does. In pursuit of a career that would allow her to do just that, Annie moved from her home in Arizona to Texas to attend Texas A&M University. As she began her studies, it became clear to her that she wanted to be an integral part of individuals' journey to grow in their ability to connect and communicate. Annie graduated with a major in Communication and minor in Psychology and moved to Dallas to pursue a career as a speech-language pathologist. She attended The University of Texas at Dallas and subsequently earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders.

Annie first "met" SCC during a graduate-level clinical practicum in the Building Blocks program in the fall of 2021, and quickly fell in love with SCC's mission to empower families and children while helping them reach their highest potential. She officially joined the SCC family in 2022. Over the years at SCC, Annie has provided evaluation and treatment services to individuals with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, attention deficits, receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, limited functional communication, and articulation/phonological disorders. Annie has also enjoyed leading the Building Blocks, Bridge Builders, Girls Afternoon Out, and SmILES programs during her time at SCC. Her goal as a member of SCC is to help every child and family feel supported and confident in their journey while providing highly individualized therapy that is both functional and fun!

In her free time, Annie loves taking walks on the Katy trail, exploring new Dallas spots with friends, and spending time with her husband and family.

Margaret "Meg" Martin, MS, CCC-SLP

Meg has always had a passion to impact the lives of preschool-aged children and their families. Beginning her undergraduate career pursuing early childhood education, Meg quickly realized that her interest in childhood development aligned with the direct therapy provision and impact she would be able to have in a career as a speech-language pathologist. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Harding University, Meg attended the University of Texas at Dallas - Callier Center for Communication Disorders for her graduate studies. Meg first fell in love with SCC during the summer of 2018 during a graduate student clinical experience with the Building Blocks summer camps. Following that experience, Meg officially joined the SCC team as a speech-language pathologist-assistant while she completed her graduate studies and has been a member of the SCC Family ever since.

Meg earned a Master of Science in Communication Disorders in May 2019 and continued her work with SCC. Over the years, she has lead Building Blocks, Bridge Builders, Girls' Afternoon Out, and Social Superstars group programs while supervising graduate students. In addition to leading SCC's group programs, she enjoys serving families of children with social communication differences, language disorders, articulation/phonology disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, and cognitive communication challenges in early childhood through individual therapy provision. Meg has received specialized training in The Play Project and is a Hanen-certified parent educator for the More Than Words program. Her commitment to ongoing growth for the benefit of her clients leads Meg to consistently pursue new and varied continued education opportunities tailored to the needs of her clients. Meg's desire to serve combined with her training in treating this population has allowed her to enhance her clinical practice to best serve the child and the family together.

Away from SCC, Meg and her husband enjoy family life with their young daughter, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Alexandra "Alex" Runyan, MS, CCC-SLP

Alexandra has always loved young children and the arts. In college, she explored the overlap between childhood and creativity as she pursued her degree at Vanderbilt University. Her Cognitive Psychology major allowed her to delve into the astounding capacity of the human brain, and her Special Education minor allowed her to discover the even more incredible capacity of the human heart. Following her graduation from Vanderbilt, Alex attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned her graduate degree in Communication Disorders. While in graduate school, Alex interned with SCC and fell in love with the principles of the practice that centered the personhood of each individual and family served.

Alex has provided evaluation and treatment services to individuals with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, attention deficits, receptive and expressive language weaknesses, limited functional communication, apraxia, phonological disorders, and feeding difficulties in public school, home health, and private practice settings. Proficient in Spanish, Alex also has experience working with bilingual children and their families. She enjoys supporting graduate students and new clinicians as well as collaborating with physical, behavioral, and occupational therapists and teachers. Alex loves working with her clients and their teams on creative, meaningful therapeutic approaches designed to instill confidence and individuality in those children with whom she has the pleasure to work.

Alex came home to SCC when she joined the practice in 2022. She lives in Dallas with her husband and their dog, and the Runyans are expecting their first child in January 2025.

Natalia Savkovic, MS, CCC-SLP

Natalia has always had an interest in language, which led to her pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. There she discovered a love for the field of language acquisition, and after shadowing a speech-language pathologist in an elementary school, knew that the profession would allow her to be part of the language acquisition journey for children. She received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas in the spring of 2023.

Natalia spent two semesters of her graduate clinical experience at SCC, where she uncovered a passion for helping preschool-aged children. There, and in other practicums, she helped children with autism spectrum disorder, social communication disorder, phonological and articulation disorders, and developmental language disorder. She also gained experience with alternative and augmentative communication. Natalia believes in the importance of understanding both the family and the child and strives to provide effective, functional treatment that takes into account individual characteristics. She is excited to be a part of the SCC team and further their mission!

In her free time Natalia loves reading, traveling, swimming laps with her swim team, and spending time with her family and friends.

Catherine Stallé, MS, CCC-SLP

Catherine fell in love with learning about autism spectrum disorder while writing her senior thesis on "Peer Intervention with Children with Autism" during her senior year at Washington and Lee University. After graduating with her degree in Psychology in 2010, Catherine spent four months teaching English to children in Thailand before beginning her graduate degree in Communication Disorders at University of Texas at Dallas.

Since graduating in 2013, Catherine has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist in an early childhood school setting. Serving in a variety of classrooms such as a preschool program for child development (PPCD), behavior classrooms and more specialized structured settings allowed her to gain experience with children of all abilities. Catherine specializes in establishing functional communication for non-verbal children through augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and building language skills in children on the autism spectrum through play. In addition, she has experience treating children who have difficulties with articulation and phonology, motor speech, sensory processing, and social skills. She enjoys really getting to know children and their families to ensure that the child's highest potential is reached and that the journey to get there is fun!
