Bridge Builders Social Skills Groups

Bridge Builders is a small group social skills program for highly verbal 3- to 6-year old children that focuses on increasing social communication and play skills with peers, facilitates understanding and managing emotions, and provides direct instruction in social cognitive concepts, including elements of Social Thinking™ by Michelle Garcia Winner.

In order to best tailor the curriculum to the unique developmental needs of the children in the group, we now offer Bridge Builders at two levels: Bridge Builders Pre-K and Bridge Builders Kindergarten.

Bridge Builders Pre-K: For 3-4 year old children.
Bridge Builders Kinder: For 5-6 year old children.

Each class is led by 1 to 2 certified speech-language pathologists and may be supported by graduate students in communication disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. Class size is limited to 6 children.

Enrollment for the Bridge Builders program is offered one or two afternoons per week, by semester.

Financial Information

Bridge Builders is a tuition-based, private pay program. While we do not submit to insurance companies, your tuition may be reimbursable by your insurance company under your out-of-network benefits for group speech-language therapy (CPT code: 92508). We encourage you to contact your insurance company with any questions.
