Parent Education Series

SCC is thrilled to announce the launch of our Parent Education programming for the Fall 2019 semester! We are offering two different content areas, each consisting of 5 classes.

Fall I–Family Feeding Education

Course Description: For children who have challenges with eating, parental understanding of all that feeding entails is just as important as therapeutic intervention.  This parent education course is designed to help caregivers enhance their understanding of feeding and swallowing as well as provide information and ideas to make mealtimes more successful.

  2. Helping caregivers establish appropriate expectations.
  3. Providing caregivers with techniques for successful mealtime set-up.
